(ENG) Vincent Coomans is a musician who works and lives in Belgium. His music draws comparisons with the music of Sufjan Stevens, Damien Jurado, Bill Ryder-Jones and Elliott Smith. Distance, grief and desire are some of the themes that are central in his work. In 2020 the artist released the instinctive EP "Can't you see that I slowly distance myself from you". In 2023 he released his first album, "The Great Rebuild" through Illuminine Records. His music got featured on multiple occasions by the iconic radio program 'Duyster'. Vincent Coomans performs live with Klaas Tomme (Ides Moon, Mirek Coutigny), Jonas Bruyneel (momoyo, Philemon, Modern Art), Renaud Debruyne (momoyo)  and Frie Mechele (momoyo).

Afstand, verlangen en rouw zijn centrale thema's in zijn muziek die referenties oproept naar Sufjan Stevens, Damien Jurado, Bill-Ryder Jones en Elliott Smith. In 2020 verscheen zijn instinctieve EP "Can't you see that I slowly distance myself from you". In 2023 verscheen zijn eerste album "The Great Rebuild" bij Illuminine Records.
