'One Way Love' is now out on all streaming services.. It's the first single of my debut EP ‘Can’t You See That I Slowly Distance Myself From You’ that is set to be released in the autumn of 2020. In ‘One Way Love’, I sing about the uninhibited love, a love with no strings attached. At the same time it’s a complaint about relationships driven by guilt.

I recorded the album in Studio Wellington, the brand new studio of Jonas Bruyneel (Uncle Wellington, momoyo). The song was mixed by Michiel De Maeseneer (Balthazar, Faces on Tv) and mastered by Uwe Teichert (Placebo, dEUS, Yann Tiersen, Admiral Freebee, Balthazar). The artwork is from the highly reputed artist Peter Van Ammel.

Listen & share it with your friends and family.

I perform my music live alongside Jonas Bruyneel (Wolfe, Momoyo) en Frie Mechele (Momoyo). This winter we played at five venues in two weeks. We performed in O.666 in Oostende, Café de Loge and Bar Mirwaar in Ghent, deDingen in Kortrijk and a small theatre in Zwevegem.

About 150 people came to see us on one of those shows and most of the time there was an awkward silence. We really enjoyed it a lot.

I will be taking a small break now to work on my first record that I will be releasing in 2020.

Here are some pictures and a video from our mini-tour.

Credits on behalf of Spookstad, Siel Verhanneman and Louise d'Eer.

Stay safe. x
